How to resolve BOOTMGR missing error in Windows.

One of the most annoying error message displayed on computer screen is "BOOTMGR is Missing". After seen this error message, one can't use that computer until the issue gets fixed. Obviously, its a critical condition, but you don't need to worry. you can resolve this issue by applying some fixes.
This error message is shown in the case when system is unable to find the boot sector from hard drive. The boot sector contains the information about the data to start-up a system. This may arise due to some configuration change, hard disk failure, or some malfunctioning data/power cables. In order to resolve it firstly, we need to understand the causes of BOOTMGR missing error.

Cause of Bootmgr missing error in Windows: 
  • This may be caused due to some file system error, arrised due to corrupt system files.

Case 1: Your hardware may cause this issue. If this is the case, then you can try these recovery to resolve "BOOTMGR is Missing" issue.
  • Check your USB drive ports, Optical drives and other bootable media.
  • Make sure that all your internal data Cables and power cables are working properly.
Case 2:  When this error is caused by your Software or Operating system, then in that case, Following recovery methods may be applied.
  •  By using Windows DVD: If you have Windows bootable DVD, then it will be an easy task to fix this issue.
    • Insert your Windows bootable DVD in the computer's DVD player and restart system to boot from the DVD.
    • After boot-up from the DVD, select your language, time, keyboard preferences.
    • Then Click on Repair your Computer.
    • The Windows DVD boot-loader then try to find the Installation directory from your file system.
    • When, the setup detects the particular directory, then select that directory.
    • Now Click on Startup Repair. While this attempt, you will see a message like- "Startup Repair is checking your system for problems."
    • This process may take several minutes. When this process is done, Your computer will automatically restart to effect the changes.
    • Hopefully, after that, everything will work fine.
