It was a great problem for every Gmail user that they can't attach files having size more than 25 MB. Cheers ! Now this problem has been sorted out by Google. Google has announced attachments of upto 10GB through Gmail even without leaving Gmail. This service has been made possible with integrating Google Drive with Gmail. Now, users can easily insert files of any size upto 10GB in Gmail from the Google Drive.
Updated Gmail's Compose interface:
- Gmail has also updated its Compose mail section. The new compose mail section provides many new features. These features include attachments from Google Drive, attachment of images, insert Invitations etc.

Insert files upto 10GB fromGoogle Drive:
- Now using Google Drive in Gmail, it has been so simple to attach files upto 10GB in Gmail. Just click on Drive icon on the compose section and you are able to insert files from Drive.
- Now as you are inserting files from Cloud, all your recipient have access to that file. If the file which you are to going attach in Gmail is Private File or you not shared it with anyone, then Gmail will ask to make the file public and shareable so that recipients can access the file.
- This feature is available in Gmail's new compose interface, so you have to opt-in for new compose experience.
