I love computer games, and I prefer to play on LAN. Most of us are a big fan of NFS MostWanted game. When we are in our Degree College, We used to play NFS over LAN in our hostel. But those days the problem was that Windows7 was just newly launched and it doesn't support full screen in NFS. Even now too, Windows7 doesn't support full screen while NFS game-play.
But, Today I have found a small and great tool that changes the graphic options while playing NFS and make it Full Screen as it appears in Windows-XP.
Why Windows7 doesn't support NFS full-screen
As Windows7 was launched with improvements in graphic properties of Windows XP. In Windows7 the default graphic resolution is 1366x768. And in NFS Most-Wanted game setup, the graphic resolution is set at-most 1280x1024. So, in case of using a monitor display with aspect ratio as 16:9, NFS game will not support full screen.
How to Play NFS in FullScreen in Win7
In order to play NFS in full screen you have to make the game resolution according to your monitor's display resolution. And to do this, you need to have a small tool- NFSMWRes. ie. NFS Most-Wanted Resolution changer.
Steps to use NFSMWRes
- Just Download the small tool here.
- Extract the archive into the NFS game installed directory. ie. In the directory where nfsmw.exe file is present.
- Now double click on nfsmwres.exe and type your screen resolution. In my case, it has auto detected my monitor's screen resolution.
- You can find your screen resolution by Right Click anywhere on desktop >> Select Screen Resolution.
- Select v 1.3 on nfsmwres.exe and click launch.
That's it. Now you can play NFS in full screen.
