Place Internet Search bar on your Desktop.

In our daily life, we need to search many things through Internet. We need to open a browser and then we can start our search. With the help of Bing Desktop and Google Desktop you can place an Internet search bar on your desktop and directly search Internet for your required query.

1) Bing's Desktop Search Bar

Steps to follow:-

• Download Bing Desktop here or from Microsoft's website Link.
• Install it and start the program and it will displayed as follows.

•  In order to configure the tool, hover on its right corner and click Settings icon. It will show different options to configure this tool.

•  Even, you can place this search bar on Top of your desktop an also auto hide this tool.

2) Google's Desktop Search bar

As Bing provides a petty interesting and effective, Google also provided a much better and enhanced Desktop search bar. Google's desktop search tool provides different search settings based on user's need.

Steps to follow:-

• Download Google Desktop here.
• Install this tool by a simple step wizard.
• And you will get Google's desktop search tool on your desktop as shown in below image.

•  You can also configure this tool according to your taste and requirement.
• Just click on option, and you can change many preferences based on your search requirements.
• You can change default search settings also.
• You can Enable hot keys to display Search Box.

• Google Desktop also provides some gadgets that will integrate to the sidebar. This sidebar gadget contains many other gadgets like email, weather, news, analogue clock, display photos etc.
• You can configure these gadgets also, like removing any gadget or adding some more gadget to sidebar.
• I recommend to Avoid using this sidebar because it consumes much memory which is of almost no use.
• Tip: Right click on Google desktop notification icon in system tray and select None to remove the sidebar gadget.
