Use Gmail and Google Apps in Microsoft's new Outlook.com

Recently Microsoft modernize the old Hotmail to Outlook.com. And migration to this new service from Hotmail, msn, or Live is very easy. The existing users of these services just need to login to outlook.com with the same user id and password and the are ready to go.

Now as Outlook.com is a new service and is quite good in features and design. It consist very simple but interactive design. Many of you want to migrate to Outlook.com too. Well, I recommend migrating to Outlook, because managing other Email accounts from Outlook.com is very easy. You can Get all your Gmail, Yahoo emails right in your Outlook's Email inbox.

How to use Gmail directly in Outlook.com:

Well, There are few simple steps to integrate your Gmail with Outlook. So that, you can receive all your emails in a single, well managed Mail Box like in Outlook.com. After following these steps, you will be able to receive all your Gmail emails in Outlook's email account.

• Login to your Gmail account. Click gear icon (top right), click on Settings. On settings page, click on Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab. There click on Add a forwarding address button if you have not configured any Email forwarding previously. If you are already forwarding your emails to some other email address, then you can Add a New Forwarding address. Enter you Outlook's email Id in the forwarding textbox and press Enter.

•  Now Gmail will forward a confirmation email and a verification code to your Outlook's email address. Open that confirmation and click on the link to validate your action. Also copy the Confirmation Code from the received email and paste it in the box asking for verification code in Gmail's Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab.

• After clicking Confirmation link, you will get a new page opened showing confirmation message.
• Now, If you want to delete Gmail's copy or keep its copy in Gmail's account, you can do it by the same Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab. As I have shown in first screenshot, you can choose Delete Gmail copy, or Keep Gmail's copy in the Inbox.

This is the quite simple tutorial to forward all your emails from Gmail to Outlook email account. You can use the same procedure to forward emails from Gmail to some other Mail Box.
